scars & scarring
What is the difference between a hypertrophic scar and a keloid scar?
Although both scars are raised, hypertrophic scars are elevated above the surface of the skin, but confined within the boundaries of the wound. Keloid scars extend beyond the boundaries of the original wound into surrounding skin areas.
Will MEDERMA® for Kids™ make scars disappear?
Nothing can make a scar completely disappear. But MEDERMA® for Kids™ can help scars become softer, smoother and less noticeable.
