Q Will MEDERMA^® for Kids™ make scars disappear?
A Nothing can make a scar completely disappear. MEDERMA^® for Kids™ helps scar tissue become    softer, smoother, and less noticeable. All with the goal of helping your child feel better about his or her    appearance.

Q What makes MEDERMA^® for Kids™ different from other products?
A Unlike cosmetic pads or silicone sheeting, MEDERMA^® for Kids™ is a gel that goes on purple and    dries clear when it’s massaged into the scar. The treatment is invisible and effective. In a recent    study, kids experienced a noticeable improvement at four weeks in the appearance, color, texture, and    softness of their scars.

Q What is Cepalin^®?
A Cepalin^® is the proprietary onion extract contained in MEDERMA^® for Kids™. Historically, onion    extract has been used to soothe skin irritation and inflammation. In MEDERMA^® for Kids™, it softens    and smoothes scars and reduces the redness of some raised scars.
